For our final drop, we pay homage to the Expansion Era—a time when baseball took a big swing at reinvention. From the debut of the Mets to the rise of the Mariners, this era brought new teams, fresh cities, and iconic throwback uniforms to the game. It was proof that baseball’s legend grows with every generation, uniting fans one new team at a time—just like the San Diego Padres, who joined the league in 1969 and, despite early struggles, went on to become a staple of the West Coast, earning two World Series appearances and becoming a symbol of San Diego pride.
